Welcome to Little Lights
Little Lights is a family faith and learning service created to help Muslim families spend meaningful moments together through stories, Qurʾān, duʿā, remembrance and daily routines.
By creating an account or using Little Lights, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you are using Little Lights on behalf of a child or family member, you are also responsible for using the service appropriately for them.
Using Little Lights
You may use Little Lights for personal and family use. Please use the service lawfully and respectfully, provide accurate information where required, and take reasonable care to keep your account and sign-in details secure.
You may not misuse the service, attempt to interfere with its security or operation, access another person's account without permission, or use Little Lights or its content in a way that infringes the rights of others.
Religious and educational content
We take the sourcing of Islamic content seriously. Qurʾān, hadith, duʿā and other religious material may include source references, grading information, translations, editorial explanations and contextual notes. We work to review this material carefully and correct issues when they are identified.
Little Lights is an educational and family resource. It is not a substitute for advice from a suitably qualified scholar regarding individual religious circumstances or rulings. Likewise, its content does not replace professional legal, medical, psychological or other clinical advice.
Where legitimate scholarly differences exist, we aim to provide appropriate context rather than presenting an editorial preference as the only valid Islamic position. If you notice a possible error in a source, translation, grading, pronunciation or explanation, please report it to us. We take content concerns seriously.
Children and family use
Little Lights is designed for both individual and family use. Adults may create or link family relationships and profiles where they have permission or an appropriate parental or guardianship basis to do so.
Please do not add another person's personal information without their permission or other lawful authority. Parents and guardians remain responsible for deciding how Little Lights is used within their household and for providing appropriate supervision where required.
Your content
Some Little Lights features may allow you to save private information such as family memories, reflections, profile information, preferences or progress. You remain responsible for the information you choose to add.
Please avoid storing information that you do not need Little Lights to hold, particularly highly sensitive information about other people. Our handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Purchases and subscriptions
Some Little Lights features may be free while others may require a purchase or subscription. Where payment is required, the price and applicable terms will be shown before purchase. Purchases made through an app store may also be subject to that store's payment, cancellation and refund terms.
We will not intentionally charge you without clearly presenting the purchase first.
Availability and changes
We want Little Lights to remain reliable, but we cannot promise that every feature will always be available without interruption. Features, content and availability may change as the service develops.
We may correct, quarantine, restrict or remove content when we identify concerns relating to authenticity, accuracy, safety, rights, licensing or technical reliability. Where practical, we will try to avoid unnecessary disruption to your saved information.
Intellectual property
The Little Lights name, branding, interface, illustrations, software and original editorial material belong to Little Lights Family or its licensors.
Qurʾānic text, hadith material, translations, recitations and other third-party material remain subject to their respective sources, editions, licences and rights. Displaying source material within Little Lights does not mean that Little Lights claims ownership of that material.
Responsible use
Little Lights is intended to support family faith and learning. It must not be used to harass, threaten, exploit or harm another person, invade another person's privacy, or circumvent safeguards designed to protect children and families.
We may restrict or terminate access where necessary to protect users, the service or the rights of others.
